Escam does pretty much what it says. The range is about 10m inside (with walls inbetween) and about 30m outside, without obstruction, but cable connection is still possible. Supposed to have repeater function to further the wireless range using each camera as a wifi-repeater to the next, but I did not test this option. Works out of the box, plug the camera's power and within 10 seconds they are connected with the NVR. Video is what you expect from a 720P, Night vision is superb. The software has all the options you need and is pretty easy to figure out. The manuals come in Chinese and Chenglish, and aren't that usefull, but I'd doubt you'll need them. The cloud- and app solutions provided are not so good, but plenty of good, free and paying alternatives out there. Quite good cameras!. Come with good packaging. They are getting connected within seconds. No idea yet about the water resistant of them. The wireless connection is adequate as well as the repeater fuction. It has a lot of possibilities as written in the product description. I have written that is has not motion detection which they really do have. I have not tried yet to install a hard drisk drive. The negative on these cameras is the app that you have to use on mobile (as per the instructions). It does not working most of the times and if they do work, they need time to load. ( of course time depends to the net speed and quality) Also, the quality of the wall mount is not as expected. This is because after a 2-3 times turn of the camera, the conection between the base and the camera got loose so I had to add some silicone to make it stable. To end up with the review I have to mention about the customs taxes expenses. It shipped to Greece via DHL. I had to pay 80€ for taxes and 54 € for customs clearance.
